We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and results-oriented Project Manager to strengthen project execution, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and ensure that client projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning and Execution

a)    Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules and delivery milestones.

b)    Translate project requirements into actionable tasks with clear owners, deadlines and expected outcomes.

c)    Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines.

d)    Identify delivery risks early and implement corrective measures before they affect project outcomes.

2. Team Coordination and Accountability

a)    Coordinate software developers, quality assurance personnel, business analysts, domain experts and other project stakeholders.

b)    Assign responsibilities, track individual commitments and follow up on overdue tasks.

c)    Establish clear communication and reporting routines across project teams.

d)    Address performance bottlenecks, unresolved dependencies and communication gaps promptly.

3. Client and Stakeholder Management

a)    Serve as the primary coordination point between clients and internal project teams.

b)    Communicate project progress, risks, challenges and revised timelines transparently.

c)    Manage client expectations and ensure that commitments made to clients are realistic and fulfilled.

d)    Organise project meetings, document decisions and follow up on agreed action points.

4. Software Development and ERP Project Management

a)    Understand the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and support.

b)    Coordinate ERP implementations and ensure that functional requirements are translated into deliverable technical tasks.

c)    Work closely with technical leads to track development progress, integrations, testing and deployment readiness.

d)    Coordinate user acceptance testing, documentation, training and implementation activities.

5. Quality Assurance and Delivery Management

a)    Ensure deliverables meet agreed requirements and acceptance criteria before submission to clients.

b)    Track defects, outstanding requirements, change requests and dependencies.

c)    Maintain project documentation, risk registers, issue logs and milestone acceptance records.

d)    Ensure that project delays are escalated promptly and that recovery plans are implemented.

6. Reporting and Performance Monitoring

a)    Prepare regular project status reports covering completed work, work in progress, pending tasks, risks and upcoming milestones.

b)    Use project management tools to maintain accurate, real-time visibility of project activities.

c)    Track project performance using measurable indicators, including milestone completion, schedule adherence, task closure and defect resolution.

d)    Promote a culture of ownership, discipline, transparency and results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

a)    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Project Management or a related field.

b)    At least 5 years of demonstrable experience managing technology, software development or ERP implementation projects.

c)    Proven experience coordinating technical teams and delivering projects against agreed timelines.

d)    Practical understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall.

e)    Experience using project management tools such as slack, Jira, Trello, Asana or Microsoft Project.

f)     Strong planning, organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

g)    Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and reporting skills.

ADDED ADVANTAGES

a)    Experience managing ERP implementations or enterprise software projects.

b)    Exposure to regulated industries, pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality management systems or compliance-driven projects.

c)    Knowledge of software testing, system integrations, requirements management and user acceptance testing.

d)    Relevant project management certification, such as PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum Master certification.

e)    Experience managing projects involving multiple technical disciplines and external client stakeholders.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

We are looking for a developer with strong experience building enterprise-grade ERP systems, designing scalable backend services, and working with microservices architecture.

 Minimum Requirements
